Colouring in is composed of a series of Super 8 film portraits of female friends of the artist who each share reflections with her on their philosophies of life, how they connect to the world and what nurtures or grounds them. Filmed in their domestic spaces, the film offers intimate glimpses into their worlds. It reflects on the dualities inside of us, celebrating the spectrum of lightness and darkness within, and provides insights into women’s experiences.
