Minnebrieven (Love Letters)

short film / work in progress

Minnebrieven (Love Letters), is an experimental short film that explores themes of camera-agency, solitude, displacement and love, through images of, and encounters with animals. The films perspective draws on the essay “Why look at animals?” by John Berger and uses it as a frame of reference. By looking at birds, deer and other animals, Minnebrieven reflects on the act of looking as such, and the space inbetween two living beings.
